With 22 years of bodywork experience, Dr. Paula relies on her diverse background and extensive experience to fulfill her patients’ needs, from gentle techniques for stress relief and emotional healing, to pain relief from injuries. Dr. Paula began her work early on in life as a massage therapist, but her drive towards wanting to know more about the intricacies of the bodies in which we live led her to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the University of Western States.
Although Dr. Paula practices an eclectic style that draws on many techniques and therapies, the ones that resonate the most with her are:

Passionate about giving back to the community, Dr. Paula finds chiropractic mission trips the best way to literally touch the nation one patient at a time. She has had the opportunity to serve in Haiti, Dominican Republic and El Salvador. In her free-time, Paula enjoys spending time learning, laughing and traveling with family and friends, especially her vivacious 13-year old.

After 12+ years in corporate positions, Robyn pursued a long-time love of health and wellness and went back to school to complete the 800-hour massage therapy program at East West College in 2009. Robyn has extensively studied Advanced Myofascial Techniques, and also specializes in Sports & Rehab massage, Deep Tissues and massage for overall health and wellness. She also has 6+ years of experience helping clients who have been in motor vehicle accidents, easing chronic pain, and making progress with people who are recovering from surgeries or work-related injuries.
- Completing a Certification in Advanced Myofascial Therapy from the Advanced Trainings Institute under the direction of Til Luchau.
- Specialized training in Sports Massage. Experience with the Portland State University athletic department and working with professional athletes at events such as the Prefontaine Classic track and field meet.

Robyn chose Massage Therapy as a profession because she wants others to experience the same healing, preventative, and rehabilitative benefits that she has as a competitive athlete for over 25 years. She understands the needs of clients with active lifestyles and she sees many clients who want massage for overall health and wellness and pain management. She continues to expand her knowledge, experience, and expertise in bodywork by attending workshops and classes as often as possible.
Kathryn Cantwell, DC, DICCP, CSP, CSCPDOCTOR OF CHIROPRACTIC
With a lifelong interest in holistic medicine, Kathy Cantwell knew from an early age that helping patients achieve their optimal health was her calling. To that end, she obtained her Doctorate in Chiropractic at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, OR, before establishing a multi-disciplinary clinic in the Chicago suburbs that she successfully operated for over 2 decades. Over the years, Dr. Kathy has helped thousands of patients avoid back and neck surgery through diversified full spine adjusting and cranial adjusting.

Dr. Kathy’s philosophy is to treat the body as a whole, rather than individual parts—this was the inspiration behind the clinic’s name, Unity Chiropractic, and Wellness Center. This outlook is also what led her to study nutrition extensively, and she is skilled at using neurological nutrition to treat specific disorders. When Dr. Kathy isn’t at the office, she likes to relax by cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, 5 children, and cat Milo.

A native of Great Britain Nicky has lived in the Portland area since 1999. She has a
background as a Registered Nurse specializing in pediatrics on both sides of the
Atlantic. Giving up the profession to be home for her family she later pursued a career in
massage to change her focus to health and wellness.
Graduating from the Oregon School of Massage in September 2014 she completed the
555 hour western massage program.
Having first-hand experience of the benefits of massage as an oncology patient herself,
she obtained certification and participated in a voluntary internship at OHSU in 2015
providing massage to patients on the chemotherapy infusion unit.
She has 4+ years of experience in prenatal massage and has enjoyed building long term
therapeutic relationships with new moms over multiple pregnancies.
She works closely with both the patient and chiropractor to offer an integrative and
therapeutic massage. Striving to deliver care, compassion with a nurturing touch, a
patient centered approach to care is at the forefront of her practice.
