With a lifelong interest in holistic medicine, Kathy Cantwell knew from an early age that helping patients achieve their optimal health was her calling. To that end, she obtained her Doctorate in Chiropractic at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, OR, before establishing a multi-disciplinary clinic in the Chicago suburbs that she successfully operated for over 2 decades. Over the years, Dr. Kathy has helped thousands of patients avoid back and neck surgery through diversified full spine adjusting and cranial adjusting.

This outlook is also what led her to study nutrition extensively, and she is skilled at using neurological nutrition to treat specific disorders. When Dr. Kathy isn’t at the office, she likes to relax by cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, 5 children, and cat Milo.

With 22 years of bodywork experience, Dr. Paula relies on her diverse background and extensive experience to fulfill her patients’ needs, from gentle techniques for stress relief and emotional healing, to pain relief from injuries. Dr. Paula began her work early on in life as a massage therapist, but her drive towards wanting to know more about the intricacies of the bodies in which we live led her to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the University of Western States.
Although Dr. Paula practices an eclectic style that draws on many techniques and therapies, the ones that resonate the most with her are:

- Craniosacral Therapy (CST)
- Neuroemotional Technique (NET)
- McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT)
Passionate about giving back to the community, Dr. Paula finds chiropractic mission trips the best way to literally touch the nation one patient at a time. She has had the opportunity to serve in Haiti, Dominican Republic and El Salvador. In her free-time, Paula enjoys spending time learning, laughing and traveling with family and friends, especially her vivacious teenage son.
Dr. Alissa Fields
Interest in understanding the body, learning how to nourish health in the body and healing modalities has been Dr. Alissa’s quest since she was young. She has witnessed and experienced that true health begins with
a well-balanced lifestyle, including diet, exercise, emotional well-being and community. Dr. Alissa is passionate to continue learning and working with people to improve their sense of self. She combines chiropractic spine and cranial techniques with health
education to improve her patient’s quality of life.
Dr. Fields was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She received a bachelors of science in Sports Medicine at Pepperdine University in 2002. After years of exploration in the health and medical field she was drawn to chiropractic medicine. Dr. Fields first 5 years of her career was at Whole Mama Whole Child and Center for Chiropractic and Pain Rehabilitation. She is excited to continue her passion to work with increasing health in her patient’s lives at Unity Chiropractic and Wellness.

A native of Great Britain Nicky has lived in the Portland area since 1999. She has a
background as a Registered Nurse specializing in pediatrics on both sides of the
Atlantic. Giving up the profession to be home for her family she later pursued a career in
massage to change her focus to health and wellness.
Graduating from the Oregon School of Massage in September 2014 she completed the
555 hour western massage program.
Having first-hand experience of the benefits of massage as an oncology patient herself,
she obtained certification and participated in a voluntary internship at OHSU in 2015
providing massage to patients on the chemotherapy infusion unit.
She has 4+ years of experience in prenatal massage and has enjoyed building long term
therapeutic relationships with new moms over multiple pregnancies.
She works closely with both the patient and chiropractor to offer an integrative and
therapeutic massage. Striving to deliver care, compassion with a nurturing touch, a
patient centered approach to care is at the forefront of her practice.

Mina Andreas knew from an early age that her passion in life was helping others. A 2005 graduate of The American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, she moved to Portland, OR to bring her dream to the West Coast.
Mina brings over 14 years of experience in rehabilitation utilizing Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, ART, Postural Analysis, and Myofascial Release techniques. She has worked with every age group, fitness level and many different types of injuries including Surgeries, Motor Vehicle Accidents, TMJ, Spinal Disorders and soft tissue injuries.
Each person who passes through her door can be assured of her dedication to their wellness and continuing healing. Mina feels very honored to be a part of someone's healing journey and will take the time to
